Christian Gospel Temple | CGT Church
In the 21st century, traditional relationships continue to be redefined. Unity is becoming passé being set aside for the progressive approach of general acceptance and free thinking.
Armed with this newfound flexibility and tolerance, we still find ourselves struggling to create and maintain longterm interpersonal relationships.
The teachings of Christ promote firstly the love of God, then loving your neighbor as yourself. He declares that real faith expresses itself in acts of love toward others.
On these principles the foundation of the New Testament church was built.
It is interesting that the New Testament depicts the church in a variety of ways but it appears the favorite image of the writers was the family. In Paul’s letters alone he uses familial terms more than 130 times yet according to the Barna group, the statistics for Christian divorce rate is no different than that of non-Christians.
What are we missing in relationships? Can we understand our differences; is the Bible still the ownwer's manual and are the teachings of Christ still relavant in the 21st century?
Explore as Pastor Steve Farmer from Christian Gospel Temple investigates what the Bible has to say on friends, family, husbands, wives, marriage, divorce and relationships.
